  • Managing Partner | Chief Pragmatist

    Chris has over 30 years of experience driving transformative change that aligns product strategy with business outcomes – delivering scalable, customer-centric solutions that are engaging, intuitive, and innovative for industry-leading companies.

    At his core, Chris is a designer and problem-solver. With over 16 US patents granted for product innovations, he thrives on a deep understanding of the product space to drive compelling innovations whether it be physical or digital products and experiences.

    Chris has a BS in Interdisciplinary Business Studies from Eastern Michigan University and an MFA in Design from Yale School of Art.


  • Partner | Head of Research

    Cate leads our research efforts and has over 13 years of experience spanning academia and industry. Cate has led research across complex digital platforms including IoT/telematics, e-commerce applications, and social media.

    A former instructor and academic researcher, Cate’s sweet spot is combining academic rigor with a pragmatic approach to transform user insights into actionable solutions that drive product and customer experience decisions quickly and efficiently.

    Cate holds a BA in Communication from Curry College and an MA and PhD from Penn State University.
